  • Junior Sous Chef - Resturant

    Barge East | Hackney Wick

    Barge East is looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join our 2 AA Rosette kitchen in Hackney Wick.

    Set aboard a 125-year-old Dutch barge, with a large riverside garden alongside, Barge East is known for seasonal modern British cooking rooted in sustainability. Our chefs work closely with local suppliers and use produce grown just metres from the kitchen in our gardens and rooftop plots.

    As Junior Sous Chef you will support the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef in running a busy, ambitious kitchen — helping lead the brigade, maintaining exceptional standards across service, and contributing to the development of seasonal dishes that reflect the best of what’s available.

    This is a great opportunity for a strong Chef de Partie ready to step up, or an existing Junior Sous Chef looking to grow within one of East London’s most distinctive restaurants.

    Salary: £36,000–£38,000 + tips

    Barge East | Hackney Wick

    Barge East is looking for a Chef de Partie to join our team, working across our Terrace and Street Food kitchens.

    Set aboard a historic Dutch barge with a large riverside garden, Barge East serves seasonal, sustainable modern British food, using produce from our gardens and trusted East London suppliers.

    You’ll run your own section, maintain high standards during busy services, and work alongside our kitchen team across the site.

    Pay: £15.50–£17.50 per hour + service charge
